The MVHS Bruins Wrestling Club kicked off our Spring Session for 3rd–9th graders this week—and it was a total success!
From the moment practice started, the energy in the room was high. Coaches welcomed all the kids and got right on the mat with them, setting the tone for a hands-on, high-energy season.
We started off with warmups to get everyone moving and focused. After that, coaches demonstrated key wrestling techniques, breaking each movement down step by step. Once the kids had a chance to watch and learn, it was their turn to try—and our coaching team was right there, working one-on-one with each wrestler to help them build confidence and refine their skills.
Whether it was a first-time wrestler or a returning athlete, everyone got in a great workout, had fun, and walked away with new skills. The smiles, sweat, and hustle said it all—we’re off to a great start!
We’re excited to see these young athletes grow on and off the mat over the next few weeks. Wrestling teaches more than technique—it builds character, resilience, and confidence, and we’re here for every step of that journey.
📅 Still time to join us! Practices continue on Mondays: April 21, 28 & May 5, 12 | 6–7 PM at MVHS.
