Join the Future of Wrestling

. Max Bell began his wrestling journey his junior year of high school, stepping into the sport later than manyโ€”but quickly making the most of every opportunity and experience along the way.

When asked about his favorite wrestling memory, Max doesnโ€™t hesitate. He points to the Millard Tournament this past month: watching wrestling recaps with Coach Weiss, getting to know his teammates better, and hanging out with the guys at the hotel. Those shared moments, both on and off the mat, are what made the season memorable.

As graduation approaches, the thing Max knows heโ€™ll miss the most isnโ€™t just competitionโ€”itโ€™s the people and all the experiences heโ€™s had with the team that made wrestling such a meaningful part of his high school years.

After high school, Max plans to sell pest control over the summer and then serve a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Weโ€™re proud of Max for stepping outside his comfort zone, committing to the sport, and fully embracing the experience. We wish him the best in everything that comes next.

About

Wrestling is one of the oldest and most respected sports, combining strategy, skill, and athleticism. It challenges both the body and mind, teaching endurance, discipline, and mental toughness. Beyond the mat, wrestlers gain life skills like perseverance, respect, and confidence. More than a sport, wrestling shapes character, builds friendships, and fosters success on and off the mat.
